It cannot be denied that Beck is a photogenic gentleman, and now a new book is set to present the singer in all his poses.

Pitchfork reports that November 9 will see the release of Beck, through Chronicle Books, a collection of photographs taken by the famous rock photographer Autumn de Wilde.

A long-time snapper of Beck, the book covers 16 years of her photographic journey with him. The foreword was written by director Michel Gondry.

De Wilde has previously published a book of photos of Elliott Smith, among others.

Beck, meanwhile has been busy producing albums this year by Thurston Moore and Stephen Malkmus. However, here is a sample of one of his most satisfying recent ideas, his Record Club covers project. Here he covers Skip Spence?s Little Hands with a bunch of his famous friends.

50 Cent, Kanye West Collaboration Delayed By Watch The Throne

'I don't know if it will actually happen during this period,' 50 says of plans to work with Kanye.

Will he or won't he? After taking to Twitter to say he will not release another album, 50 Cent has many wondering about the fate of his upcoming, untitled fifth LP. One thing is for sure, if 50's album is ever released, Kanye West probably won't be a part of it.

"Yeah we talked about it, both of us; and Kanye went on the radio and talked about us collaborating soon," 50 told MTV News on Tuesday while on the set of Hot Rod's "Hot Girl" video. "I don't know if it will actually happen during this period, because of how much they got going on with Watch the Throne, with him and Jay doing that. I don't know."

In 2007, 'Ye and the G-Unit boss squared off in a famous sales battle between West's Graduation and 50's Curtis (if you don't recall, Kanye won). While the competition was hyped up at the time, it doesn't seem to be an issue anymore, and 50 is still open to the idea of working with the rapper/producer.

But even without that collaboration, 50 said he has amassed quite a few songs already. "I have a lot of good ideas for it, and I just put 'em on the side and said, 'We'll see what happens,' and I kept doing other things," he said. "I have too many records right now. I recorded to the point that I have 40 songs for a CD that will have 13, maybe 14 cuts."

That is if the CD ever sees the light of day. On Wednesday morning, 50 tweeted: "Man I'm not releasing a album. I can't believe Interscope is this f---ed up right now. I apologize to my fans."

Shortly after, Fif also threatened to leak Dr. Dre's new single "Psycho" in retaliation for the foul treatment he felt he has received from the label. He later recanted. "I wouldn't leak dre's record he has done nothing but help me in my career," 50 tweeted. "Jimmy [Iovine] has always been supportive of me."

Are you excited about the potential of a 50 Cent and Kanye West track? Tell us in the comments!

How to Select a Good Trainer for Pet Horse Training | Grooming ...

An equestrian on a horse is a beautiful sight, and this sight might have inspired you to own a pet horse. The horses that you see in derbies and in horse shows are extremely trained. Racing is something that can be done with a very good horse, in particular, one that will readily obey a rider?s bidding. Whether you?re thinking of getting a pony for your son or daughter, or you want a workhorse to help you haul stuff, you need to find a way to train your horse properly.

If you buy a horse that has not been saddle broke, you may find it difficult to train him yourself. You can find a lot of helpers who can assist you, but you should choose well. Ideal trainers are vets who have worked with animals before and competent derby workers who know the basics of animal maintenance and training. Those who have previously owned horses are also great candidates. Here are some more suggestions on how to choose a great pet horse trainer?

1. Animal Rapport

Graceful as it is, a horse can be scary. Looking at a horse from afar is different from actually dealing with it up close. Inept trainers will not be able to handle a horse?s violent streak. Someone who is used to working with horses day in and day out will be able to help you. Fear is something that horses can sense, and your trainer must be able to stay calm around horses to start training.

2. Adept

If you are a new horse owner, you probably know less about horses than you think. All the know-how from books will not get you ready for the real thing. Experience and skill is needed for a trainer. Ask applicants to tell you in detail what they know about horse training. Disclose that you may have to depend on the trainer?s skills to help you train your horse. You have to do this because you don?t want guess work to rule your relationship with your trainer.

3. Riding Expert

You want to be able to ride your horse. Your trainer should also know something about training a horse for riding as soon as possible. A trainer for horse maintenance should also be able to give you valuable tips for riding a horse. Your trainer should be able to tell you what you and your horse need to start your training.

Lawmakers deadlocked over debt deal as default looms (Reuters)

WASHINGTON (Reuters) ? The United States edged closer on Tuesday to a devastating default as Republicans and Democrats deadlocked over competing plans to raise the debt ceiling, one week before a deadline to act.

President Barack Obama, in a televised address aimed at rallying public support for a package proposed by Democrats, warned that failure to increase the U.S. borrowing limit would severely hurt the nation.

"For the first time in history, our country's triple-A credit rating would be downgraded, leaving investors around the world to wonder whether the United States is still a good bet," he said in remarks in the East Room on Monday night.

Republican and Democratic lawmakers, despite weeks of intense talks, have been unable to agree on how to lift the $14.3 trillion debt limit by an August 2 deadline, when the country runs out of cash to pays its bills.

Markets have been rattled by the descent of negotiations into an acrimonious stalemate, with both sides offering competing plans that are unlikely to win bipartisan support.

Gold has been pushed to an all-time high and the dollar has softened as investors weigh the harm a default could do to U.S. and world growth if it pushed up borrowing costs as expected.

"Every day that goes by without a deal will see investors become a bit more defensive," said Omer Esiner, chief market analyst at Commonwealth Foreign Exchange in Washington.

Obama warned a default would inflict a tax hike on all Americans by pushing up borrowing costs on things like credit card loans and mortgages, but sought to assure markets a deal could still be reached.

"I have told leaders of both parties that they must come up with a fair compromise in the next few days that can pass both houses of Congress - a compromise I can sign. And I am confident we can reach this compromise," he said.

Rating agency S&P warns it could downgrade the United States unless lawmakers agree on steps to reduce the deficit by $4 trillion over 10 years.

A credit rating cut would be felt around the world. Investors will likely demand a higher return for holding U.S. government debt, a benchmark for almost all other financial markets, forcing up interest rates and sapping asset prices.

Republicans and Democrats both insist they will not allow the United States to default.

This commitment has not yielded a plan to lift the debt ceiling, which Republicans say must be accompanied by even larger reductions in spending.

Democrats want to shield Medicare and Medicaid and say any cuts in these cherished healthcare programs for older or poor Americans must be balanced by changes in the U.S. tax code that generate more revenue in the future.

But Republican lawmakers in the House of Representatives are adamant they will not vote for a deal that includes tax increases, reflecting the determination of Tea Party conservatives elected last year to shrink government. They control the House while Democrats hold sway in the Senate.

House Speaker John Boehner, the top Republican in Congress, must placate these demands and on Monday advanced a two-stage deficit reduction plan that would start with an initial $1.2 trillion in savings over 10 years.

It is sure to be rejected by Obama because it would raise the debt limit for only a few months, meaning the issue would have to be revisited in early 2012, making the politics even harder for lawmakers with an eye on the November election.

"A six-month extension of the debt ceiling might not be enough to avoid a credit downgrade," he warned.

Democrats formally presented their competing plan for $2.7 trillion in deficit reduction over the next decade with a debt limit increase to carry through the November 2012 election, when Obama and many lawmakers are up for re-election.

Boehner dismissed the Democratic plan as "full of gimmicks." Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid insisted "extremists" within the Republican Party must not be allowed to dictate the outcome of the debt debate.

The Obama administration has not ruled out invoking the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution to sell debt, even if Congress fails to raise the borrowing ceiling.

Is 'Kiss and Tell' A Thing Of The Past? ? Goddess Intellect

This weekend I attended my first ever Tea Party, a third in the series which boasts an afternoon of frank and open sex-based discussions, accompanied by food and drink hosted by Ms.Tea. In particular we were discussing sexual stigmas. Amongst the topics were oral sex, anal sex, race and sex, after sex etiquette, sex toys, manscaping, women never being able to know if they have the best nani, d*ck in a jar and a whole host of topics. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation and emerged from the discussion with a completely different perspective on sex.

Different? It?s not that I picked up new pointers on how to please a man, or came across a plethora of information that I didn?t already know, but it was interesting to hear others experiences with sex. I left feeling as though men and women really know nada about each other and still had a long ways to go.

One pivotal point in the discussion came when one of the male guests stated that he had no problem with giving oral sex, but he felt as though his partner/gyal or whomever was on the receiving end should not go back to her friends talking about it.

This caused an uproar.

This encouraged daps.

You can guess which gender did what.

I sat in utter disbelief. It?s not that I disagreed or agreed, I mean pride and egos are real and sensitive. When us ladies find a supernovaskyrocketinflight d*ck, the morning after it?s hard to keep that to ourselves. However, whether or not a man is any good at oral, anal, and common penetration I strongly believe in the whole kiss and tell concept.

I made up my mind early in my sexual exploration that I would keep what me and him do between me and him, unless?unless I had a concern, mainly health and I needed to seek advice from someone before sparking a discussion between US.

This changed slightly when I began to blog. My former sex column ?Freak-Um Fridays? was laid to rest for this very reason. At the time it was a means for me to express my imaginative sensual side but I ended up leaking quite a bit (in my opinion) of information that I really did not have to share. It got to a point that trust was broken with a particular individual which led to the end of an adventure.

If we, meaning men and women are ever to begin understanding each other better, I feel one of the most important things to develop and work hard to maintain is trust. We could sit in a room for hours on end and talk about every sex topic under the sun but if women are still running their mouth to their girlfriends about how Sean, John and Paul made her lips quiver only to have it swing back to dude, than we (men/women relations) won?t get very far.

I know of folks who have an easier time expressing themselves to complete strangers than they do to their partners. Let?s try to change this folks. If I took one thing away from my first Tea Party experience it?s that men are willing to hear women out but it?s private business they won?t want aired out!

How do you feel about the whole kiss and tell concept? Is this concept relevant in an age of social media and sex blogs?

How would you feel if your partner or former partner blogged about your sexual adventures together?

You found out your partner told a group of friends about your sexual expertise, and it got back to you via a family member, how would you approach the situation?

Health Insurance: You Need To Understand The Basics | Car ...

Health Insurance: Understanding the Basics

Americans today receive a barrage of health insurance information from every direction. Pundits speak of the national health care crisis; Medicare now offers additional options; and employee benefits officers often speak in a jumble of letters from HMO to PPO. For the consumer, choosing a health insurance plan can be quite confusing.

Health insurance is not ?one size fits all.? Depending on your current state of health, budget, and individual needs, the best insurance for you may be far different than the best insurance for your friend or family member. A basic understanding of the various types of insurance that are available, and what each does and does not cover, can be helpful in determining which plan will work best for each person.

Traditional health insurance, also called ?fee for service? or 80/20, is the type of insurance that most of us grew up with. You are entitled to visit any doctor, and the insurance company pays 80% of the bill. This type of insurance offers the greatest flexibility, but carries the highest out of pocket expenses. A deductible must be met before the insurance company will pay. The lower your monthly premium, the higher the deductible will be. The insurance company usually reserves the right to cap payments if, in their opinion, the doctor?s fees are higher than what is ?reasonable and customary? in your area. This is an excellent type of coverage to have if you become extremely ill and require a network of specialists, or if your medical bills are astronomical. Once your expenses for the year reach a certain level, the insurance company will take over and pay 100%.

Many healthy people do not need fee for service medical insurance. They find that their out of pocket expenses are much lower with a ?managed care? plan. There are two basic types of managed care ? HMO and PPO.

In an HMO, or Health Maintenance Organization, you pay a monthly premium in exchange for comprehensive medical care. There is usually a small co-payment for doctor?s visits (usually ranging from $5 to $25), and a somewhat higher co-pay or deductible for hospitalization. Your out of pocket expenses are significantly easier to predict and manage with an HMO rather than a fee for service plan. However, an HMO introduces the concept of a ?gatekeeper.? In an HMO, you must choose a primary care physician. That doctor, working in tandem with a risk management insurance officer, will determine your access to specialists. Finally, an HMO requires you to use doctors that are part of the HMO?s network. If you travel a lot, be sure to find out what the provisions are should you require an out of network doctor.

A PPO, or Preferred Provider Organization, can be considered a blend of HMO and fee for service plans. You will choose a primary care physician, and generally use doctors that are part of the organization. However, a PPO lets you see doctors who are not part of the network for a somewhat higher fee. This increased flexibility is excellent for those who travel frequently, or for those whose current doctor is not a member of the organization.

Many other options exist for covering your medical expenses. A Health Savings Account allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars each month. Catastrophic insurance carries a low premium with a high deductible, and is designed to cover you if you develop a serious illness or injury. However, for the average consumer, the choice is generally between fee for service and managed care. All types of plans carry their own advantages and disadvantages, and it is important to understand what these are in order to make the right decisions for your family.
